Police search for bank bandit

DATELINE Police in Wilmington, Delaware are investigating a bank robbery at the Wilmington Trust branch at 1007 N. Market Street.

The holdup happened Monday afternoon at approximately 12:26 pm.

Tellers told police that the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter and gave a demand note indicating he had a weapon. No gun was displayed in the robbery.

The suspect got some cash and he ran out, heading west on 10th Street.

Police describe the suspect as:

  • White Male
  • 5'7"
  • brown jacket
  • brown knit hat
.
