Both victims, a 60-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns and were transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
At one time flames were reportedly through the roof the row house, spreading to a neighboring home.
The fire was finally placed under control at approximately 1:57 a.m.
No word on what caused the fire.
