Athletics officials are canceling the University of Delaware Track and Field Open this weekend in response to recent cases of swine flu on campus. The event scheduled for Saturday has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. The post-meet Track & Field Alumni Gathering is still expected to take place.

The Blue Hen women's rowing team will not participate at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Metro Championships on Saturday on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. That competition will continue as scheduled.

Athletics officials have already canceled the Blue Hen baseball team's three-game series at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and the softball team's three-game set at Hofstra University this weekend.
