Serial bank robber sought in Jersey

WOODBURY, N.J. - May 14, 2009 - The banks hit were: The St. Edmonds Bank in Deptford on Saturday, April 25; The Sun National Bank in Glendora on Tuesday, May 5th; the TD Bank in Glassboro on Monday, May 11th; and most recently the TD Bank in Woodbury on May 13th.

The subject is described as black male, 30 to 40 years of age, 5'10" to 6' tall, medium build, with a short mustache and beard or unshaven.

In all three robberies, investigators say the man presented threatening demand notes to a teller, and fled with undisclosed amounts of cash.

In the robberies of the Sun National Bank on May 5th and the TD Bank on May 11th, police say the suspect wore what appears to be the same black baseball cap with a cream or light-colored brim and an older "Phillies" logo on the front, and carried a black zippered folder.

In Wednesday's robbery in Woodbury, the authorities say the suspect was not wearing a cap but was wearing sunglasses. He was carrying what appears to be the same black zippered folder.

The FBI says the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in either Philadelphia at 215-418-4000 or in Cherry Hill at 856-795-9556, or their local police department.

There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
