Train hits person in Bucks County

BRISTOL BOROUGH, Pa. - May 17, 2009 Just before 4:00 p.m., Bucks County 911 received a call from the conductor of an Amtrak train.

The conductor reported he hit something near Beaver and Garden Streets in Bristol Borough.

When police arrived to the scene, they confirmed the train hit a person.

Amtrak tells Action News that it was train #163 from New York to Washington DC. There will be delays due to the accident.
