A half-hour before the shooting, police responded to a large fight outside a nearby American Legion hall that had been rented out for an event. Police say that fight involved between 200 and 250 people, and the shooting is believed to have stemmed from that incident.
Milford police Cpl. Robert Masten says investigators aren't sure whether the victims were targeted or were shot at random.
Police say four of the five victims are cooperating with investigators.
