Police have made an arrest in the Monday morning Center City bank robbery. Tuesday morning around 10:30 a.m. 59-year-old Jerry Lee Stanton of West Philadelphia was picked up on the 5000 block of Walnut Street.

The arrest comes after police released surveillance photos of from the robbery Monday morning at the Citizen's Bank at 2001 Market Street in Center City.

Police say the surveillance pictures show the suspect handing the teller a threatening note. He then stuffed an unknown amount of cash in a pillow case and was seen fleeing west on Market Street.

Authorities have not announced what charges he'll face, only that Stanton will be charged locally and not by the FBI.
