Police say it began Tuesday evening when two men robbed a Five Below store on Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore, Pa.
They jumped into a car in an effort to escape, and Lower Merion police chased them toward Philadelphia, but broke off once the suspects crossed the city limit.
Police say the suspects continued driving at a high rate of speed until they struck a parked car at 64th Street and Morris Road in the Overbrook section of the city.
The injured men were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with significant injuries.
Their identities have not yet been released.
