Hilary Duff, who recently had a role on "Gossip Girl," is engaged.
She and her boyfriend, Edmonton Oilers hockey player, Mike Comrie, got engaged a few days ago while vacationing in Hawaii.
Duff's publicist says "they are very excited to share this happy news."
The engagement comes during the National Hockey League's two-week break for the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Hilary Duff is 22 and Mike Comrie is 29.
They've been dating for more than two years.
Last year, Duff had told US magazine that she'd never met anyone who could say a bad word about Mike Comrie.
She said "he's generous, caring, funny."
And, she said "he's unique," and that she "wouldn't want to be with someone who wasn't unique.
