Reward offered in shooting of Phila. police sgt.

WEST PHILADELPHIA - April 6, 2010

The Fraternal Order of Police made the announcement at Police Headquarters on Tuesday morning.

On Monday, a man shot Sergeant Robert Ralston at 56th and Lancaster in West Philadelphia.

The suspect is one of two men that Sergeant Ralston approached around 4:00 a.m. by the nearby train tracks.

The 21-year veteran of the force was shot in the shoulder.

He was released from the hospital after receiving treatment.
