Anyone missing a leg?

SHARON, Pa. (AP) - April 20, 2010

The Shenango River Watchers have been cleaning up near the river since the group was founded nine years ago. Cofounder Rick Barborak says crews have found a few unusual items over the years, including a concrete lawn duck the group has kept as a mascot, "Scrappy the Duck."

But the leg found Saturday in Sharon is one of the most unusual items. Sharon is about 60 miles northwest of Pittsburgh along the Ohio border.

The group has collected about 800,000 pounds of trash over the years, much of it scrap steel from one part of the bank that had become an unofficial dump.
