Four teenagers have been charged in the beatings Friday night.
Police say a 39-year-old man was walking in the Oak Orchard community when he saw a group of young men that appeared to be following him. He ran, and the teens chased him down. They hit the man with two aluminum baseball bats, beat and kicked him.
Police say the victim's 18-year-old son and 49-year-old friend then confronted the teens, and the teens beat them as well.
Troopers found the suspects inside a nearby home. All four are charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy and possession of a deadly weapon during a felony.
