New Castle police Senior Cpl. Trinidad Navarro says seven people were sleeping inside the home early Saturday morning when shooting was heard at the back of the house. Police say more shots were fired when an 18-year-old went to the window. One bullet hit that person in the leg, but Navarro described the man's condition as stable.
Navarro says other bullets just missed other people inside the house. Police have not yet determined a motive.
