He has been identified as Robert M. Barry, 50, of Allentown in Monmouth County, NJ.
At approximately 8:00 a.m. the Trenton Police Dispatcher received a call reporting that there was a vehicle at the Delaware River near the Waterfront Park submerged in the water.
Rescue crews found a 4-door silver Hyundai Elentra, and the body of Barry was located inside.
Police say they have not been able to determine how Barry, and his car, ended up in the water.
