Flames broke out just before 4:00 Sunday morning inside a home along the 4200 block of Ormond Street in Juniata.
A mother scrambled to a neighboring home to escape the flames. Her 14-year-old son jumped from the upper floor to get to safety, and his dad and his dog were also able to make it out.
The teen was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The entire family is now homeless.
The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. Investigators are working to determine how it started.
