The accident occurred around 10:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-495, just north of I-95 in Newport, Delaware.
The victim was with a group of motorcyclist when he misjudged a turn in the highway and overturned - flipping several times.
Medics transported the man to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.
Only one lane of traffic, northbound is getting by at this time while State Police continue to investigate.
