Two sheriff's deputies were stabbed and wounded on Friday in Bucks County.

Investigators say the deputies were trying to serve a child-support warrant around 10:00 a.m. in the 900 block of Easton Road near Edgewood Road in Riegelsville.

When they knocked on the door, police say the suspect emerged from the home and stabbed one deputy in the face and the other in the arm.

Both were taken to St. Luke's Hospital to be treated. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was being treated at Doylestown Hospital for unspecified injuries.

The man the deputies were seeking owed about $800 in child support.
