The shooting occurred at 2:20 a.m. near the intersection of 2nd and Indiana Streets.
The shooting stemmed from an argument that occurred inside the El Callejon 2 bar, located on the 200 block of Indiana Street.
Once outside, the suspect shot the teen once in the chest.
A witness drove the victim to his mother's house where medics then transported him to Temple University Hospital. He remains in critical condition at this time.
Police are searching for a male, about 19 to 20-years-old, standing 5'5" to 5'6", with a thin build. He was clean-shaven and wearing an orange jacket, light blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
