Just after 10:00 p.m., Philadelphia police were called out to the 3700 block of North Carlisle Street for the report of a shooting.
When they arrived they found a man on the street suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to Temple University Hospital in extremely critical condition.
Police believe two teenagers were seen fleeing from the area after the shooting.
