Officials: 3 tornadoes struck Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG, Pa. - April 29, 2011

Bruce Budd, an NWS meteorologist, told The Patriot-News of Harrisburg that a tornado touched down in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County on Thursday.

Two other tornadoes had been confirmed in Palmyra and at the Roundtop Mountain Resort in York County. All three tornadoes were categorized as EF1, which are twisters with winds from 86 mph to 110 mph.

While the the storms downed trees, power lines and caused some flooding, no major injuries were reported across the state.
