Mrs. Fixit: Budget Art

July 17, 2011

All you need is some inexpensive frames and some artistic elements.

I found these great patterned gift bags in four colors for under a dollar.

All you have to do is cut the bags so that they'll fit into the frames and secure them in place.

You could arrange them in a line or spaced into a box, but either way they make a great statement!

Fabric is another great choice to fill the frames. Cut it to size. Then cut some pieces of cardstock or cardboard to the same dimensions. Use some spray adhesive to adhere the fabric to the backing and smooth out any wrinkles. Then put the fabric into the frames.

For a simpler statement, cut a piece of white cardstock to the opening size of your frame.

Then adhere some dimensional scrapbooking elements to the cardstock and add them to the frame.

A great look with a small price tag, I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
