The accident happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. on northbound I-95 near Allegheny Avenue.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash came to rest on its side.
The occupant of the overturned car, described as a 56-year-old woman, was rushed by medics to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment of head and right ankle pain.
During the investigation, the northbound lanes of I-95 were reduced from four lanes to one.
