Family displaced by Cherry Hill fire

CHERRY HILL, N.J. - April 2, 2012

The flames broke out inside a home on the 600 block of 3rd Avenue around 12:00 a.m. Monday.

Investigators say the fire started in the garage and spread to the house.

A 50-year-old man suffered smoke inhalation. He was treated and released at a local hospital.

There's no word on what caused the fire.

The family has been displaced from the house as the home suffered considerable damage as the fire spread from the garage into the house.

The Red Cross is assisting five family members displaced due to the fire.

The fire appears to be accidental.
