Chester police were called around 1:25 p.m. Sunday to the 900 block of Terrill Street where numerous shots were heard in the area of Sun Village Park.
Arriving officers located a 17-year-old male down in the park near the basketball courts.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his left foot.
Paramedics transported the victim to Crozer Chester Medical Center in stable condition.
The motive for this shooting remains under investigation.
