Two men shot on Wilmington street

Police are looking for the person who shot two men in Wilmington, Delaware Tuesday.

The shooting occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on the 500 block of North Jefferson Street.

Police say upon arrival they found two men shot and wounded and lying in front of a residence.

A 30-year-old male sustained a single wound in the buttocks and a 29-year-old male had multiple wounds to his lower back.

Both victims from New Castle, Delaware were taken to Christiana Hospital and are listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male in his 20's and bearded. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.

He was last seen running east through an alley on Jefferson Street.

Both victims are felons with convictions for drug and assault charges.
