Possible abduction caught on camera in Spring Garden

The Philadelphia Police Department is looking to identify the suspect for a possible abduction in Spring Garden.

The incident happened at approximately 4:14 p.m. Tuesday on the 1900 block of Green Street.

A witness tells police she heard a female screaming for help and looked out the window.

The witness then saw a man following a woman while she was walking away from him.

The male had exited a black Chrysler Coupe with PA tags.

The witness says the male attempted to grab the victim and pull her several times.

The male then picked the female up and carried her to the vehicle that was parked at 19th and Green Streets.

The female was struggling with the male and attempting to get away.

The male placed the female into the back through the driver's side of the car and was last seen driving eastbound on Green Street from 19th Street.

The witness then called police.

The victim is described as black female with a medium complexion. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt and black pants.

The suspect is described as black male, bald, last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, dark colored pants and was driving a black Chrysler sedan with a possible partial PA tag "JFM".
