Police say gunfire erupted outside of the Arborwood Apartments in the 500 block of East Gibbsboro Road just after 2:00 a.m.
A man believed to be in his 30's suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
The Lindenwold Police and the Camden County Prosecutors office are investigating the shooting.
