Authorities in Anaheim, California, report a 2015 GMC Yukon burst into flames during a test drive.
Police tell a local television station that the driver lost control, but was able to pull to the curb.
The SUV started smoking and then quickly erupted in flames.
Police Lieutenant Tim Schmidt says it appears the SUV started leaking some fluid, possibly oil, during the test.
The driver and a passenger escaped unharmed.
