Authorities say a small plane overturned while landing at a New Jersey airport.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the accident occurred around 3 p.m. Sunday on runway 31 at the Woodbine Municipal Airport.

Rescue crews found the single-engine plane resting upside down on one of the airport's two runways. But further details on the accident were not available.

It was not immediately clear what caused the plane to overturn or how many people were aboard the aircraft.

No serious injuries were reported.

FAA officials are investigating.
