There are two Topgolf facilities in the Houston area, including a brand new one in Spring. The sports entertainment facilities are identical, with three levels of driving bays.
Top stands for target-oriented practice. You can keep track of exactly where each golf ball goes they have a microchip inside. Players get instant feedback and can also compete with each other based on the number of points each ball scores.
The facility also includes a full service dining room, bar, and game room with pool tables and shuffleboard.
"The thing that has made us so successful, is that we appeal to everyone, girls nights out, bachelor parties, kids that want to come out--there is no one that is discriminated against at Topgolf," manager Don Bachman said.
For $5, you get a lifetime membership and use of the clubs and facilities. To use the range, it is $40 an hour per bay, which can be split amongst a group. From 9 a.m. to noon, the price drops to $20 an hour.
There are also some new specials that have just rolled out at Topgolf.
The early bird special is $80 a month and you can come in Monday through Friday and play unlimited golf.
Another deal for frequent customers is called the "Daily Drive." You load up your card with $200 worth of driving range hours and pay $150.
Topgolf also has a deal for the night owls. It's $100 a month to hit the range from 10 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday.
