Pa. state lawmakers announce $20 million funding for personal, hair care professionals

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Some help is coming for an industry still recovering from the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Democratic state lawmakers announced the release of $20 million in American Rescue Plan funds for personal and hair care professionals across Pennsylvania.

The money will go to businesses that applied for but did not get help from Pennsylvania's Small Businesses Assistance Program, which was created last year.
