ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- The investigation continues after federal agents searched the offices of Reading City Hall in Berks County last week, as well as Allentown's government offices the week before.
As of Monday night, no one has been charged in the case, nor has anyone been accused of wrongdoing.
Still, it was after a grand jury looked at a case when the FBI executed a search warrant for financial records at the offices of the mayor of Allentown, the mayor of Reading, and several high profile people across the region.
Authorities tell Action News that federal agents are looking for any possible connection between development contracts handed out by the city of Allentown and campaign contributions made by the people and companies who received those contracts.
Among the people listed in the subpoena is Mike Fleck, a local political consultant who served as campaign manager for Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowsli.
While Fleck has not been accused of a crime, it was right around the time the FBI raided the mayor's office when Fleck quickly dissolved his consulting firm and moved out of his home in Allentown.
Fleck, by the way, managed the campaign of Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer as well, whose offices were also the subject of FBI raid earlier this month.
Pawlowski, who recently suspended his bid for the U.S. Senate in the wake of this probe, says he has nothing to hide.
"We're doing everything we can with the ongoing investigation. We're working with them and cooperating every way we can, and we have to let the investigation take its course," Pawlowski said.
Action News has attempted to reach out to Mike Fleck, but every number we found associated with him has been disconnected.
