Officials: 'Minor' amount of anthrax sent to Delaware

Officials now say that the amount of live anthrax sent to a lab in Delaware last month was 'minor.'

The Division of Public Health said the sample was "significantly less dangerous than anthrax with a higher concentration."

The shipment was part of a nationwide mistake by the U.S. military.

The private lab had expected to receive dead samples from the Department of Defense.

The CDC says the anthrax was contained and the public was never in danger.

The Delaware lab will be decontaminated later this week
