Photos show Delaware crook

Action News has obtained surveillance pictures of a man accused of trying to rob a Delaware convenience store.It happened at the 7-Eleven on the 23 hundred block of Concord Pike in Fairfax, New Castle County on Sunday morning.

State police say the man entered the store, poured a cup of coffee and asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes. The man began to check his pockets for money, according to police, but instead of paying walked behind the counter.

Police say the man put his hand in his pocket and told the clerk he had a weapon and ordered the clerk to clean out the cash register. The clerk refused.

Police say the man took off when he saw a car pull up in front of the store. He was seen running towards Aldersgate Church.
