Heroin supplier arrested in Wilmington

Wilmington police say man suspected of being a major heroin supplier has been arrested. Police say 31-year-old Anthony Copeland was arrested Friday following a brief car chase. Police say Copeland discarded 30 bags of heroin worth almost two thousand dollars during the chase.

Twenty six grams of heroin worth about 26-hundred dollars was also found in his residence.

Copeland is already on probation for a federal heroin charge.
