New Castle County Paramedics spokeswoman Sgt. Kelli Starr-Leach says Clifton Alston was pronounced dead at the scene.
A relative found Alston's body late Wednesday night at Alston's home in the first block of E. 23rd St.
Police say its not clear how long he'd been dead.
Investigators say they don't have any suspects in the shooting.
