Prison officials say the father of four children killed in a row house fire in South Bethlehem will be permitted to attend their funerals on Saturday. The children died of burns and smoke inhalation in the fire on Sunday. Their father, 41-year-old Juan Echevarria, is an inmate at the state prison at Camp Hill.

The fire broke out about 4 a.m. Sunday. High winds, intense flames and the collapse of the roof hampered efforts to fight the fire. Four Echevarria children, ranging from 5 to 13 years old, were killed. A 12-year-old child survived.

The children are to be buried Saturday at Bethlehem's Nisky Hill Cemetery.
