South Jersey crash injures young woman

The victim was flown to Cooper Trauma Center with serious injuries.

A 20-year-old woman is in serious condition, after her car slammed into a tree on a South Jersey road, flipped over and landed next to a U-Haul truck.

The crash happened about 4:15 Wednesday morning on the southbound lanes of the Black Horse Pike in Monroe Township, Gloucester County.

The accident threw the woman from her car. She was choppered to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden, where her exact condition has not been released.

Police say the woman's car was moving at a high rate of speed when it went out of control.
