All weather forecasts begin with a look at current conditions and then continue by checking out the forecast data from complex computer models.

Erica's Answer:

There are several different computer models, though, and each meteorologist uses their own experience and knowledge in interpreting that model data. It's the interaction between the human element, the forecaster, with the technological element, the computer, that accounts for differences in the forecast.
