Nearly 16,000 still without power

The affects of Monday's spring Nor'easter continue.

Just before noon, local utilities reported about 16,000 people still without electricity because of downed trees and broken power lines.

Areas in Delaware and New Jersey appear to be the hardest hit.

PECO officials say a total of 58,000 were out at the height of the storm, but only a handful were without power before noon Tuesday. All were expected to be back by Tuesday afternoon.

Atlantic City Electric listed outages in the following counties: Atlantic 4,151

Camden 351
Cape May 7,460
Cumberland 165
Gloucester 152
Ocean 168
Salem 96

In Delaware, Delmarva Power listed outages in the following counties:
Kent 8
New Castle 1,553
Sussex 86
