High school standout athlete killed in crash

A three vehicle crash in Cape May County killed a standout high school athlete Saturday afternoon. It happened around 4:00 on Route 47 in Middle Township.

Police say a car, an SUV and a motorcycle collided. The man driving the motorcycle, later identified as 18-year-old Josh Moren, was killed. Three others were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.

Moren of Vineland was a recent graduate and standout baseball player at Sacred Heart High School. Moren was named a first-team Press all star this season. He planned on playing ball at Salem Community College.

Middle Township Police are investigating.
