Firefighters battle 2 alarm blaze in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. - August 22, 2008 - They tell Action News flames were shooting from the first floor of a vacant home which quickly spread to a 2nd floor.

The Camden Fire Marshal says the fire appears to have started in the rear of the first floor.

The flames caused extensive damage, and damaged two other vacant homes on either side.

There were no injuries to fire fighters or civilians

The fire was declared under control at 2:23 p.m.
