Unisys denied logo on Philly skyscraper - Philadelphia News

PHILADELPHIA - August 26, 2008 The ruling came as a result of an existing code, which prohibits signs bigger than 100 square feet and higher than the bottom of the second floor.

/*Unisys*/ Corp. said putting the company's name in 11-foot-high lighted letters on the side of the 58-story downtown skyscraper was a critical part of its plan to move its headquarters from suburban Blue Bell to the downtown skyscraper. Now they must decide if they will proceed with the move.

Opponents of the company's plan for the /*Liberty Place*/ building included owners of luxury condos in the building, which is partly an office building and partly residential.
