The Phillies are home. About 50 people were lined up at the fence with their cell phone cameras ready as the team stepped off their plane at Philadelphia International Airport just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

The Phils are celebrating a 5-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5 of the National League Championship Series on Wednesday night. They're headed to the World Series for the first time in 15 years.

Philadelphia will face either the Tampa Bay Rays or Boston Red Sox. Tampa Bay leads the ALCS 3-1.

Twenty-two-year-old firefighter William Cardwell of Marcus Hook, Pa., watched the game at the fire station with his colleagues. At the airport Thursday morning, he said the thing he likes best about the team is "their ambition." He said, "They have the heart to win."
