Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the sign. The stadium and the broadcast booth were spared.
No one was injured in the fire.
Fire burns sign at H.S. stadium
COLLINGSWOOD, N.J. - November 17, 2008
Flames broke out just before midnight at the Collingswood High Stadium located on West Collins Avenue. The fire destroyed the "Panther Country" sign over the broadcast booth.
