Ex-trooper admits writing phony tickets

GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - November 20, 2008 The Attorney General's office says 28-year-old Mark Wilson pleaded guilty to three counts of tampering with public records and three counts of second-degree forgery. He was ordered to serve a year of probation.

Wilson had worked for the state police for seven years. The investigation began this year after a standard internal review discovered that a ticket he wrote was in the name of a dead person.

Wilson could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
