Holidays at Franklin Square

December 1, 2008 Ben Franklin threw the switch Monday evening with Santa as his special guest for the lighting ceremony.

Thousands of lights adorn the historic square along Race Street near 7th.

Franklin Square is one of William Penn's five original park squares.
