Man shot on West Philly street

Police are checking a surveillance camera to see if it captured a gunman shooting a man on a West Philadelphia street late Tuesday night.

The suspect opened fire a little before 11 PM outside a pizza parlor along 57th and Delancey streets.

Police drove the man to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital where he is in critical condition.

Police are looking at video from a nearby surveillance camera in the area, to see if the shooting was recorded.
