A northwestern Pennsylvania man faces more than 30 years in prison for escaping three times in three days from police and sheriff's deputies in April.

Thirty-eight-year-old Christopher Stevenson, of Oil City, remains in the Crawford County Correctional Facility, where he's been since he was arrested after his last escape on April 7. Wednesday's guilty pleas were entered in a courtroom at that jail because authorities were afraid Stevenson might try to escape again.

Stevenson twice escaped from Titusville police cars on April 5 by kicking out back windows. Two days later he broke a window latch and jumped out of a county sheriff's van traveling 55 mph.

No sentencing date has been set.
