Crash near Claymont causes road, rail, delays

Authorities say no one was hurt in a traffic accident in Claymont but the crash affected both highway and train travel in the area. State police say the two-vehicle crash happened Sunday afternoon on Interstate-495. One vehicle was sent down an embankment and through a chain link fence. It landed between the Amtrak tracks. Amtrak Police issued speed restrictions for trains in the area until the wreck was cleared.

Two lanes of I-495 were closed for about an hour. One driver received a ticket for careless driving.
